I published this photo in my 'Soup of the Day' gallery in my website on 28-08-2009 and I wrote:
I know it is not an extraordinary shot, but I like the light, the roof lines and the texture and colour of bricks. And it is a bit special because it is the last photo I shot yesterday from the hospital, just five minutes before learning that I have a cancer, a Lymphoma. I will have to go through 'chemo', but until I see the oncologist in a few days I will not know how things are going to be. At least for the moment don't worry, there will still be 'soups'. If I can't think of anything new to shoot, I will 'flush' some from my archive of 'recent ones'. As I say, life continues :-)
As you can see, life does continue. I had my last chemo session one year ago, in January 2010, and here I am, old because of age but healthy.
